Need help with graphic card

I have a Toshiba satellite c50-a-1jm I just brought the civilization game off steam, wouldn't start up so I downloaded the directx 10 and it started up, but slow.. very Laggy and slow. Thought my laptop could handle it but clearly not, I even put everything on lowest graphics and resolution but not a lot changed. Do I need a new graphics card? What one would be the right one to buy?

Sorry to break it to you, you cannot upgrade laptops other than the RAM + storage really. You might want to ask for a Steam refund before you cannot get a refund. You have to have under 2 hours in the game and have to have purchased it within 2 weeks to get the Steam refund.

Did you check that your laptop could actually run the game first?

Well, if you want a new laptop this guy isn't a bad buy, should be able to handle CIV ok.
