Solved! need help with noise app requires andriod 4.4 or higher

Hello friends and thank you for taking the time to look at my thread. I apologies straight off but i know nothing much about tablets (i am normally a PC man) but i need some advice. I have extremely anti social neighbors and the local authority have told me to record them using a noise app

the app says i need andriod 4.4 or higher as i don't have much experience with andriod can anyone suggest a tablet i could purchase that would be suitable for the job. I don't mind buying a half decent tablet as i can always put it to good use after the neighbors nightmare is over. But i am confused with things like "android marshmallow" "gingerbread" and sorts of stuff

Any good quality tablet would have Android higher than 4.4, the Samsung Tab A has some good sales on it now for under $200. If you have an Android phone you can use that also.
