My laptop has lost all power after being shocked when unplugging it. No lights or anything comes on even when trying to charge it. Any ideas?

From the AC cord from the outlet..... I have taken battery out and pressed power button for 5 mins and then plugged in power cord and tried and still no power... Im so lost.

Unplug the power from the laptop and put it back, if you still have no power try to measure the output from the psu with a voltmeter to see if you have a something, the voltage is written on the psu itself.

PSU = Power Supply Unit
Voltmeter = Tool used to measure voltage

Voltage read from voltmeter should match or be close to the voltage on the sticker on your PSU (power supply)

OHHHHHHH OKAY? Thank you for all your help, apparently my brand new computer is fried and I need to replace motherboard??????? Not sure how that happened at all.
