Need quick help connecting 2 devices

I have a sony bravia tv that has no headphone out on it, to a bose companion 3 series that has a 3.5mm jack in. My tv has a digital audio out on it but I dont know if this will work: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] -_-Product

if anyone has this or knows how to get it workin please let me know, waiting on a reply so I can order the right thing to get it working.
