I'm looking to get a laptop, no gaming, not for school. It'll mostly be for checking email, going on sites like facebook, and maybe some youtube or netflix, I also need it to have a fairly big HDD or be able to use an external HDD. I don't know anything about laptops or what it's specs should be for something non gaming related. There a couple of laptops I've seen that might help understand what I'm after.

Bestbuy is the only thing in my city that's a PC type of place. The laptop also needs to have wifi.

That asus is much better, it's got a WAY faster CPU and the extra screen real estate will be a lot nicer when web browsing.

Cool. When looking at the page for it, it states that it has wifi, but while looking at it's specs, it doesn't mention it. Is this some type of 970 info going on, or am do I understanding wrong?

You sure? In the specs I see it states that the product has "Wireless-N" meaning it does have wifi.
