Need some recommendations for laptops

Alright so I'm currently an IT student and looking for a good laptop for my needs. I'm usually running anywhere from 1 to 3 virtual machines in VMware, ranging from Windows Server to Linux based Operating Systems. Probably needs at least 8GB of ram with a decently clocked i5. Hard drive space isn't a huge issue since I keep all my VM's on an external drive. Not really sure what brand to go with since I haven't purchased a laptop for some time now.
