Need to buy a new laptop. I'll use it to watch videos, youtube, FB, photos, Excel, etc all for under $500. Suggestions?

My laptop is dying. Need to purchase for as little as possible. Will use it to stream videos, music, youtube, FB, photos, Microsoft Word and Excel. I'm technologically challenged here.

Your applications don't require a high power laptop. I would think that anything with HDMI output (so you could connect it to a TV) would work just fine. If you didn't need MS Word and Excel you could use a Chromebook.

Any I3-class laptop will do, Apps software not included.
