Need to conect laptop Lg dvd receiver Ht534

My laptop has hdmi, and regular stuff and I want to connect it and still get 5.1

There is not much info available on your receiver.
- Does your laptop has HDMI video output?
- Does it have HDMI video input, or optical/coax audio inputs?
Can you post a picture of the back panel (with connectors)?
