Solution
Your laptop is trying to boot via the network LAN adapter - - this could be a sign that your hard drive has failed, in which case Factory Recovery wouldn't be a solution anyway.

To test for hard drive failure, test it with SeaTools for DOS on a bootable CD:

Hi Debbie,

This issue can generally be cause by 1 of 3 things. These things are:

  • -Issues within windows boot files. (Unlikely in your case)
    -Issues within the BIOS settings.
    -The HDD has gone bad.

If the laptop is still under warranty I would recommend an RMA.

If you are able to enter the BIOS go onto the save and exit tab and choose the option "Load Optimized Defaults". However if this doesn't fix the issue you will need to acquire windows recovery media where you can run the troubleshooting tools which should generally fix issues within boot files.

If none of these options work I hope you have backups of your data.
