Netbook failure

My acer aspireone netbook crashed. All the error message I got was "not enough resources to access api" then it turned off. I waited and restarted it, and windows wouldn't start - it performed a disc check and then it told me to make sure any new hardware was installed properly, to restart the computer and basically hope that this message doesn't pop up again. I haven't installed any new hardware so I don't know what to do with it.

Help, please?

could be any number of things. I'd say either hard disk is going bad, Windows is corrupted or lastly maybe flakey RAM. If it's still under warranty and this happens a couple more times I'd have Acer take a look at it. Assuming you haven't installed anything or disassembled it to upgrade (thus voiding warranty) you should be good to go under warranty
