Netscape 6 (any advantages?)

I tried netscape 6 a while ago, hated it, and deleted it. Banner Ad software isn't compatible, as well as other problems. Does anybody like it? Has anybody found any advantages to using it?

Pretty much everyone is with IE now,Netscape has been bypassed which is a pity, competition strengthens the breed

NS6 is crap. I used to be a die hard NS fan, but with the release of IE5.5 and then the crap from NS, I had no choice but to use IE. Realistically, NS screwed themselves royally by releasing a beta and calling it a final release.

I like a lot of the features in NS6, but it's impossible to use. Flash doesn't work, and it's ultra slow, etc...

I am using Netscape 4.5 at work purely cause I prefer the email program. However a few weeks ago I tried NS6, it was so slow compared to 4.5 (running on my personal workstation P233) that I took it of and went back to 4.5.

Looks good, pity about the performance.

I use Netscape just to test the compatibility of my website. IE still supports the best HTML and there's no doubt about it. Just look at CSS and all those new technology. Phooey. IE rulz.

you guys should try the IE 6 beta i nice it has some new features that i like and i've found it to be stable i've only had one lock up with i, but that windows for you

Nah I like to be on the safe side because BETAs kinda make me feel... insecure. Since my life really depends on this machine, I'll look to the final version. Thank you for your information, anyway.
