Network speed keeps dropping back to 0kbps and bouncing back

So I've had this ASUS laptop for 2 years now and I've had this reoccurring issue which has only gotten worse over the years. So as you can see from the picture I linked, the wifi/networks keeps dropping to 0kbps and rises back up. This causes lag spikes when playing online games and also causes connection issues when browsing the internet. Really would appreciate some help, I've tried reinstalling the driver and even reformatting my laptop. I'm at a dead end now. this one having internal wi-fi board that could be defective you have a lan connection on it if not try a usb wireless pen drive for test . also did you upgrade the driver for te wireless chipset .
