Bought a new Android TV Box, and the Onkyo apparently "Does Not Support Device". I bought this one after another Android TV Box, the "T-9" came back with the same message. I have had one TV Box, the "Zoomtak" that worked fine for almost 2 years, unfortunately it was just outdated and no longer was suitable for what I wanted. My question is 2 parts: 1) Why did it work so well with one, and now cant recognize anything newer. 2) Is the anything I can do to the Onkyo Receiver? Some sort of Update I can download to receiver via USB for example?

Solution
Connect the Android box to the TV directly. Check the video resolution in the settings menu. If it's higher than the Onkyo will pass set it lower and reconnect it to the Onkyo. That might help.
1. you would need to contact the makers or the device and the receiver to find out details about compatibility. We are guessing you are talking about HDMI connections.
2. Did you check with Onkyo support for your model?
