Question New asus rog laptop unable to play any game smoothly

Hello
I have just bought a asus ROG laptop with gtx 1660ti, ryzen 7 3750, 16gb ram
but i couldnt play any games smoothly, after 30 minutes or so of into the game and it starts getting catchy and plays rough like an old scratched cd.
dont know whats up please help me out
even my TF2 that is 12years old, plays at 30-40 fps

I suggest you check what the temperatures are when you are playing and when it starts to give you problems. That is often the cause.

There are many programs out there that you can download to monitor the temps. Many free ones. Just note that some don't work on laptops, or at least not on all laptops.
