New Built Desktop, All good except audio.

If anyone can help, I appreciate it!!!

I built this computer few weeks ago. Everything runs good except the audio. The speaker is not muted, but the cross of the speaker logo keep flashing even when nothing is plugged in. I've re- installed the realtek audio drive several times, nothing changes. The green and red front panel shows there are audio devices plugged in and out constantly. When I plugged my headphone into the back panel, the green jack at the back panel lights up; however there is no sound.

Sound controllers:
High Definition Audio Device
NVIDIA high Definition Audio
Realtek High Definition Audio

Control Panel > Sound
1. Speakers - realtek High Defintion Audio - Default Device
2. Realtek HD Audio 2nd output - realtek High Defintion Audio - Ready
(2. Keeps flashing when the front panel jack is enabled)

Were the realtek drivers on the cd? Did you install the chipset drivers after you installed windows?
