New computers want work

I have a acer model E-5 -576G. I order this laptop thru Amazon last Friday and received it yesterday. I’ve updated this computer which took nothing less the 4 hours. Upon completion ,I logged into my Microsoft account and walked away for an hour. Now the screen is black and the fan is running. I’ve tried powering down to no avail. The power light is on but I can’t get the screen to light up or the backlit keyboard. What should I do from this point?

hold the power button down for 8 to 10 seconds as it will turn of then. turn the laptop back on & see what happens.

so if can go right into windows with no problems means that is good.
