New headset only in one ear

So I got a new headset and whilst it's not a particularly expensive one I was assuming it would work okay.

I am having trouble getting the sound to play out of the right headphone, the left headphone plays all the sound. I'm sure there's a simple fix but I don't know much about sound equipment.

Sometimes it's the connection itself. Maybe try it in a different device or push a little harder to see if it's not all the way in.
