New HHD in Acer 5515. Stuck on BOOTMNG can't be found.

I just put a new hard drive in an older acer 5515. I got the original software (Vista basic) from Acer. Installation was going well till I said yes to recovery from disc. I miss understood and now the laptop appears to be looking to recover from the HHD drive not the CD rom. I have tried everything I can think of as far as F and alt keys but nothing want's to work, I am stuck in a revolving door. The message I get is BOOTMNG not found. Hold down C-alt-delete to restart. This repeats over and over again. Can anyone help?
