and $2,000 less a month to keep a plan on it. I'm sure they'll sell well just as the other ipod touches did, but i'm also sure they'll be much more expensive than the iphone prices also.

Hmm...I was hoping it would get a new look. Maybe make the back like an iPad or iMac...or like the iPhone 4. But I guess not.

The only thing I will buy from Apple is iPod, and I was hoping they would give it special treatment.

Cameras... maybe. Facetime I seriously doubt it since you need both cellular network to place the call and wi-fi to face-time. but hey, keep talking about it and maybe they'll enable it but only with the rear camera...

You have to give credit where credit is due, apple is very good at making money, the first iphone was basically an ipod touch with a phone added now the new ipod touch is basically an iphone4 without the phone, and the ipad is basically a big ipod touch.

Take one device then take something away from it, then make it bigger and now you have three devices you can make money from.

I hope they add a GPS radio to it too. That would cover all the bases for me.

I think this will make the iTouch a very attractive device, more so than it already is. I got the iMovie app on my iphone 4, and it was amazing to be able to take some pictures and videos from an outing with some friends and organize it into a nice video that also had some music playing in the background. There are programs that do this on the computer, but I was able to make a video in 5 minutes on the way home. That's pretty impressive to me. If the iTouch gets those cameras, then a point and shoot camera may be replaced as the every day memory capturer. I just wish Apple put a physical shutter button... Oh, and yes the reception issue is annoying, but that is the only problem I've had so far.
