Hi all new here, i have a Lenovo Ideapad with the current specs, i'm after something a little similar but with a HD screen so i can have 1920 x 1080p and a 256gm SSD Drive, but most importantly much better graphics! is it worth going for an AMD? i have seen this laptop for £599 anyone know of anything better or cheaper?

Intel i5 - 6200u
8gb Dual Memory
Intel HD 520 Graphics
128 ssd Drive

  • AMD Ryzen 7 2700U Processor
  • RAM: 8 GB / Storage: 1 TB HDD
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon Vega 10
  • Full HD display

Those are good specs for the price, and the video performance will be much better than the HD 520 if that is what you mean by "better graphics".

Yeah the graphics card looks much better doesn't it than anything on an intel machine, is AMD the leader now in terms of graphics? and processor power??

Wonder if you had made the purchase? The AMD solution seems to be quite hot in recent days. But is the performance stable and similar to that of Intel CPU? I have been doing some research online but the data is quite confusing. I mean yes it is a cheaper solution, but the performance seems to be a bit letting people down?
