Hi guys. I ve recently been looking for a new laptop preferably a gaming one. So i finally found these two.

Hp Pavilion 15-ak009tx
Intel Corei7 6700HQ @2.60GHz,
16GB DDR3
1000GB HDD+128GB SSD
15.6”(full hd 1080p),
4GB NVIDIA GTX 950M,
Kshs. 109999 (around USD 1085)
or

Lenovo Y700 Core i7-6700HQ
8GB RAM
256GB SSD
17.3"
FHD (1920x1080)
Nvidia GTX 960M 4096MB
80Q0000GUS
Kshs.170000 (around USD 1680)

Now my question is simple. Is the difference in graphics card worth the extra $600

Solution
neither, here is what you should do, go with the dell inspiron model at the following link http://www.dell.com/us/p/inspiron-15-7559-laptop/pd?oc=dncwpw5722s&model_id=inspiron-15-7559-laptop

The reason i am recommending the dell machine is its superior in quality to both machines, the lenovo has poor hinge and battery design with a basically non replaceable battery. And to top if off the screen is vibrant but it has massive issues with being dark, and having poor colors ive personally experienced this. The 4gb of vram in the 960m will never get used as the chip is a 128bit chip so it can only use 2gb. Trust me, you will like the dell more.

I honestly would say that if you had no go with the lenovo but buy a lot of extra warranty at least 2-3 years and you will likely be okay, lenovo is a bad about out of warranty repairs so if it fails out of warranty they will not replace it or anything.

No clue what you mean whit that "mobile workstation", you are starting the question "laptop preferably a gaming one" and then going in a different aspect. If you need help make the question more specific so we could give you proper answer.
