New Laptop Choice

I need to get a new laptop for college for fairly cheap. One that I found was really cheap and the specs all seemed pretty decent. So i was wondering if you guys had any better ideas or if this one was a bad choice. As long as its not a Chromebook and is under 300 i will consider it.

It will be fine for basic tasks like surfing the web and social media. Just don't expect heavy multi tasking or gaming,

What about basic games like minecraft and LoL? I don't intend on playing anything more intensive then that.

It should be on really low settings. I think the cpu may get overstressed though so I wouldn't play any games on this particular laptop.

The Celeron N2830 CPU is not very powerful. It is based on the Bay Trail Atom CPU that are found in many subnotebooks and similar to the Bay Trail Atom CPU used in tablets.

I have read that while the Bay Trail Atom CPUs can be used to play WoW with very low settings when you are by yourself (I think they stated about 24 FPS), in raids the FPS drops down to a low as 4 FPS. I dunno how similar LoL is to WoW.

As an LoL vet, I will honestly say this will have trouble running it. Although you might be fine on minimum settings in the beggining and may get around 25-30 fps, towards the end of games when they get into large teamfights, your computer will go drop fps and be unplayable
