Just got this new laptop, and I'm really wondering why my performance levels aren't doing so well. I'm running games like CSGO at an average of 30fps, and other games aren't doing so well either. Here's the laptop I got

I have all of the latest drivers / updates, the graphics card in it isn't TERRIBLE, so I figured I should be getting better performance.

Don't get me wrong, it was a KILLER deal for only $479 at the time that I purchased it, but a little performance boost would go a long way for me!

Any ideas guys?

Why are you expecting better performance? Do you know of a similar/equal laptop that is markedly better?

You also cannot compared a desktop vs laptop. Due to heat constraints, a laptop tend to run a slower processor version of a desktop.

Have you set BIOS for Performance mode?
