New Laptop making glithy noises and lagging during video playback

Started 3 days ago, I have brand new Lenovo 510 14 running an i3 6100u with 4g ddr4 ram but suddenly it has started making a 'brrrrrr' sound during playback, especially when using mouse and hovering over icons while watching videos, games work fine however (sims 4 runs fine). Ive reset this thing twice and ran every hardware test under the sun, one benchmark did show that the GPU was running slower than it should of been (intel hd 520). Any thoughts, thanks in advance.

Hello my dudes/dudets

I recently purchased a Lenovo YOGA 510-isk brand new from currys/pc world, for the first two weeks it was lightening fast as it should be, as it has fairly decent specs (Intel i3 6100u, 128gb SSD, 4gb DDR4 )

However a few days ago it started doing something very irritating, during play back of video especially when moving the mouse around on the page while its playing the video will freeze for a few seconds and the audio will stutter producing a 'BRRRRRRRR' sound, and i cant for the life of me figure out what has caused this. I have turned up all of my performance profiles to max and ran numerous of the provided Lenovo hardware tests to find out if something was damaged, which nothing was. I have reinstalled windows 10, reinstalled ALL drivers and nothing is working.

I did recently run UserBenchmark to see how my pc would peform and i noticed my CPU and GPU peformed lower than they should of, with the Intel 520 GPU running 96% slower than other CPU's of the same model running the same test.

If it is a brand new device and it is doing this, you should either contact the place of purchase, or contact the manufacturer about a replacement.
