Give me some insight if this is worth buying. Toshiba X205-S9349 Satellite. I am thinking of ordering it Do you guys have any recommendations of any othe good ones that will be good form this one. Thanks.

Yeah it's solid. It will game better than most things out there, but not as good as some others.

The only major drawback IMO as a gaming rig is the T7100 CPU, instead of the T7300 or better. There is a next higher model S9359 which is a little better with the T7300 and the GF8700GT with real 512MB, not 256MB + 256MB TurboCache. But it's a little more money. And then there's the SLI models, the SLI1 and SLI3 which just boost the dual card option a little more (using 2 GF8600GTs not a single GF8700) and also ups the CPUs a little (T7100->7300 and T7300->7500).

So yours isn't a bad option, but if the SLI1 does sell in the next few weeks for the suggested $1999 I'd go with that one for both the better CPU and the dual GF8600s.

With the SLI the cpu is only 7250. instead of the 7300. I will see if that will work for me. Also will you recommend to buy from toshiba website or look around to see if it is cheaper other places. THanks.

Well no, the SLI1 is up from the T7100 you have listed, the SLI3 is the T7500 up from the T7300. Both are upgrades within their segment.

The only way you're getting the T7300 now is in paying more right now, either way they're better than the current option, the question that remains is the value.

I am thinking of buying The SLI1. I am just waiting for my fund to be available. This might sound crazy but i am barrowing money from myself. I am going to borrow total of $2300.00 That should be enought for the SLI1 . What ever is left over i might just buy more memory. Thanks for your help

You're welcome, and no it doesn't sound crazy, sounds like a line of credit, so if it's another method, then hey whatever works.

I think you'll be happiest with an SLI1, as long as you're not expecting wicked battery life it should be good, it's a nice upgrade from the one listed, and considering it cost about the same as the S9359 but is a twidge better, it's probably the route to go. Just one thing, check with Toshiba how easy it is to get the latest drivers, because an SLI rig is likely not that easy to do that without fairly regular updates.
