New processor got kinks?

Hello,
I'm looking to buy a laptop. Showed specs to someone smarter than me; he said "don't know about that new 2010 intel core i5-430M processor- find out if they got the kinks out" advice?

There are no kinks, The kinks were for desktop versions of the i5/i7 mobos, the foxconn burning socket/cpu pin issue. Laptops use a different socket so it's fine
