new tv, same antenna, less channels ??

HI I have a new tv (sarp 43" 4k ), I just hooked it up to the antenna I was using with my "old" Sony 32" hd tv. I lost 5or 6 channel out of the 15 I use to get with the sony... any ideas ?

Your old TV may have a better over the air turner than the new one.
You can try a different antenna with more gain than the one you have now and it might help. Repositioning your antenna may help too.
You can also add an external over the air tuner. Some of these have PVR functions and even two tuners. Might be more sensitive than the new TV. Channel Master makes a pricey but excellent one.
