I purchased a VAIO Fit laptop and I had it upgraded to an i5 CPU, 1080p screen, and NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M (1GB) graphics card. I thought by upgrading the CPU and graphics card it would make is somewhat better than the base model. After receiving the laptop and playing around with it I find it quite sluggish. I installed some games, and thought I would be able to play with settings on High or above, but this is also very laggy. Anyone have any ideas on what is causing the laptop to be slow and what I can do to make it less sluggish? I uninstalled some of the bloatware including the anti virus but it didn't make much of a difference.
I also ran the windows benchmark and it gives graphics a 4.6 which i find pretty low after i upgraded the graphics card..
