Yes.Well Microsoft is cutting down on the fans so less noise.

Sadly, the new system doesn't accept any of the old memory units, so those still without hard drives on their Xbox 360 Arcade machines will have a bigger challenge in porting over their game saves.
possibly because the old memory units are now obsolete, as you can now use USB flash drives are memory units

ok BUT DOES THIS MEAN THAT THE NEW XBOX CAN FINALLY BE LIKE THAT OF PS3 AND Wii?

So much for a 250GB hard drive! mine has suddenly said its a 228GB so were has the other 22GB gone microsoft???? :( could this be for future software/firmware updates???

The XBOX 360 Slim overheats (rrod) as well. Why would you combine the CPU and GPU into one chip when the GPU is already overheating on the original XBOX360. Best bet is to keep the GPU cool by removing the DVD Drive and putting it on top of the case. Go to google and type in "airflow cables" to see more details.
