G'day everyone... Im just about to finish off my new house and have put a huge list together in my wants for home automation. I have read, watched videos, looked at a heap of poduct reviews to the point my head is about to explode......
I apologise if this has been asked previously......
Has anyone, or would anyone like to share their product plan, what hub you used, which voice Control brand worked best with a mesh network.... Your schematics of what brand you used?
Ill be incorporating security cameras externally, motion sensors, 12 x 4 banks of led down lights which i would like to dim. 3 zones for heating and cooling, we have 15 windows... Unfortunately we live in the Blue Mountains near Sydney. This area has. Been declared a flame zone bush fire area which means i had to install external fire shutters and double glazed sec windows...
We would like to have motorised internal blinds and curtins.... So all up each window will need 3 contols......I hope you understand why i am totally confused in setting this up.......
Im hoping if i can see how others have created their system with brands and products, i can hopefully find one that would suit my layout and then just copy and order those products....
Sorry if i sound confusing.... Thats because i am -)))))))
Any advice or help will be greatly appreciated and if you happen to be passing through, drop in for a shrimp on the barbie and a beer.....
Cheers...Rob

I think your home is beyond what a DIY type of system can handle unless you have the skills of a pro and the time to make it all work. I am not sure what brands are available in Australia but Crestron, Control4 or Savant would be able to handle that kind of setup. Getting it all to work with voice control is another matter.
