On samplitude site is there: Forum , after login

Whoever was running the server for alt.sekd closed the newsgroup
abruptly w/o warning in September. There is some discussion on
www.samplitude.com about trying to get it going again on another host.

Sorry that isn't a proper link, the News G account is news.nv.net and then
select samp-seq.(in OE).

It is running again on my server <news/news.nv.net/samp-seq>

The old posts will show up eventually (I have them all now, going back to 1997.)

It should be <news/news.nv.net/> (not http).
