Here is the link to the *FREE* Qusnetsoft news reader...

http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=13869

I could never get it to work correctly on my iPAQ 5555. Hopefully it will work for you. Otherwise,
Ink Spot is a good alternative...

Yes, bad idea to even mention that there are rival products here... !!

In the Mac groups I post to, it's not like it is here - if a topic goes
from "can i do this with my mac" to "no but you can with windows" nobody
minds.

I don't get that impression here- it seems to be that if people don't know
about Palms they are referred to Palm groups. It seems sensible. Can you
show the insults that you are referring to?

And what happens in the Palm groups when ppc's are mentioned?

I won't (or shoudln't) even start on the Mac vs Windows argument.
Microsoft support Mac, and for one reason: they need it for ideas. Look
at the Windows Mobile interface for example, hmmm, main menu in top
left. 10 years ago, Apple would have sued them for that. Nowadays they
seem to have an agreement where Microsoft provide the software
brandnames people want to see on a Mac (IE, MSN, Office) and Apple let
MS use their ideas. :)

Can you show the insults that you referred to? Or are you ignoring that now?

Do you really think Apple is the idea company for the Computer industry?
Theyve done exactly what MS has. They take an idea and improve upon it. If
you knew anything about PC history you would know that Steve Jobs stole the
idea behind the Lisa directly from the Xerox PARC labs and the Alto....

Back in your hole Appleboy...

Another personal hero. Along with Dave Englebart and a few others. Great
men! I wish I had a tiny bit of these fellows foresight, knowledge and
intelligence. Funny how the public is full of hero's like Hank Aaron and
the such when guys that do make a REAL contribution to society are so easily
forgotten. Not to belittle Hammerin Hank in any way mind you.

I understand Apple didn't invent the GUI, but they have innovated and
improved it it a lot. I just ask you to compare tasks such as managing
files, connecting to the internet, and burning an audio CD on Mac and
Windows. For ease of use, I think Mac OS wins.

I wasn't suggesting Apple is the be all and end all of ideas, however
Windows XP in particular copies Mac OS in many ways.
Like the way you can just drag stuff onto your CD icon? Thank Apple.
Think you're lucky to have built in Movie maker and MP3/WMA software? I
think that was Apple's idea too. Showing all program windows under one
menu (instead of a task button) - apple again. Oh, lets not forget why
USB is so popular now, and why most PCs have modems built in, in fact
come to think of it - why most PCs have CD Writers as standard now.
There's no shame in admitting Windows isn't original, unless you were on
the team who programmed it or something. I don't see why some people
such as your selfs (seem to) blindly support a multinational company
like Microsoft in this way.

> Back in your hole Appleboy...

As for Apple, their products are overpriced and often talk the talk more
than they walk the walk, but they are the industry leaders when it comes
to original design, especially GUI design. I'm no "apple boy" as you
say, I hate the way they release new products every other week so mine
becomes more and more out of date buy the minute, my next computer won't
me a Mac as I can't afford one, and I want to be able to fiddle around
and tweak my new PC, something you can't really do with a Mac, so please
if you must call me something, MacMan is the preferred name.

So there aren't that many after all. If any.
