Hey guys, I currently have a Del 15R (N5110) With Intel HD 3000 graphics and intel core i5-2430M CPU @ 2.40 GHz with 6GB installed RAM, i was wondering which of these 3 laptops would be a way better choice in terms of gaming (overall), I know my budget isnt that much but it's something, but its about $350 and below, i picked these 3 as the best ive seen:

or if anyone knows of any other place/website where i can get a good (or better than what I have) gaming laptop for about $350 and below

Oh, and by games, i mean games like Skyrim, Diablo 3, Borderlands 1, possibly Subnautica, and maybe Minecraft, and I dont mind playing them on low/maybe medium quality with smooth FPS, or am i asking too much? and if any of those laptops would get rid of the annoying Lag Spike of Death I get quite often when playing games, that would be cool, and I believe one of those laptops had a discreet graphics card, i couldve sworn, and wouldnt looking for the one with the most video RAM be better?

At that price range, you are better off searching for a used older laptop on eBay or Craigslist. Look for something with an Nvidia 850m - there were a lot of those made, it's fairly recent, and performance is decent. Here's how you can expect Skyrim and Diablo 3 to perform on the 850m, 750m, 940m, and the AMD R4 and R6 in the laptops you've selected. I included the 940m because there's a low-end Acer laptop which occasionally goes on sale for $450 which has the 940m.

i5 vs i3 doesn't make much difference on a laptop (except for the newer i5 quad cores introduced with Skylake). Mobile i5s and i3s are both dual cores. The i5 just has Turbo Boost. It's not like on a desktop where the i3 is a dual core but the i5 is a quad core.

Try to find one with a SSD or SSD cache. That will make a bigger difference in everyday use than the GPU or RAM.

Initially I would say, save up. But that would not be answering the question. I've managed to find two which should do alright for light gaming and I mean light, but better then the Intel HD 3000.

First: Lenovo IdeaPad Z50 - $380

- 15.6 inch screen at 1366 x 768
- FX-7500 2.10GHz with (boost) up to 3.30Ghz
- 8GB DDR3 RAM
- AMD Radeon R7 Graphics (Shared memory = Memory taken from RAM)
- 1 TB

Second: HP 15-ay191ms - $372

- 15.6 inch screen at 1366 x 768
- 7th Gen Intel i3-7100u Kaby Lake 2.40Ghz with Hyperthreading (2 Processing cores / 4 threads)
- Intel HD Graphics 620 - Pretty impressive integrated graphics
- 8 GB DDR4 RAM - Latest RAM
- 1 TB

Link: https://www.amazon.com/HP-15-ay191ms-Touchscreen-Signature-Bluetooth/dp/B01MQOXCYY/ref=sr_1_7?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1486724705&sr=1-7&refinements=p_n_operating_system_browse-bin%3A12035945011%7C12566246011%7C5945862011%7C5945861011%7C2232492011%7C562222011%7C2232496011%7C2232493011%7C2232495011%7C2232494011%7C5945864011

The R7 graphics is slightly better than the HD 620; only slightly, however the Intel i3-7100u is a much better CPU.

Personally, I would go with the 'HP 15-ay191ms'. Up to date RAM(DDR4), Better CPU, decent integrated graphics)
