Keyboard lights up when I try to turn the tablet on, but the tablet does nothing. The tablet was charging for a couple hours last night, so I know the battery isn't dead.

Solution
First disconnect the keyboard (if attached by cord). Then try this...

1. Remove the battery.
2. Press and hold the "Power" button for 20 seconds.
3. Now put the battery back in.
4. Plug it in to charge and allow it to fully charge before turning it on.

If this doesn't help, then test the charger cord to see if it is good. Either try your cord in another device, or try another devices cord on your device.

Should that not be the problem, then check the battery to see if it needs replacing.

NOTE: Yes, I know tablet batteries are not so easy to get to, on some devices. In such a case, make sure that your tablet is not under warranty still before you try opening it up yourself. If it is under warranty, then contact the manufacturer first.

This is a stock answer, and you didn't even look up the device in question. Unfortunately, I don't have an answer either, but I'd rather see the question unanswered than this advice

That is a pretty common device, so looking up the laptop in question wouldn't be needed unless it was a rare question/issue/model. It is also very common to start from a basic point when the question is missing a lot of data. Had there been any reply to the answer stating what was going on, further details, etc., then I would have continued the questions/suggestions. Until they reply, nothing can move forward, so please don't make assumptions about a situation/assistance/answer until you have more facts. :)
