Nexus 6 SD Card error

I have a Nexus 6 and no SD card and no way to put one in, and I have used every solution for such things as "Error Code: 0" from the Play Store and "Can't download, please insert SD card" on YouTube for downloading music offline. Phone is rooted. Any possible ideas or solutions to this? Even after I reset my phone it doesn't work.

The fact that the phone was rooted may well be the answer to your problem. That phones original OS and apps would have known that there was no external storage capability. Allowing you to do the downloads. However, once you rooted it, all bets are off.

Same error even before I rooted.
