Nikon Coolpix s3200 waterproof camera won't turn on even if battery is fully charged

I used my camera yesterday when I went to the beach. It was working perfectly even underwater, but today it won't turn or respond to charging or connect to my laptop. I tried to charge the batteries thru an external charger till fully charged. BUT camera still won't turn on. Please help anyone?

You do know that those cameras are not for diving right? Unless you made sure to follow all the instructions (never opening the compartment when wet, rinse off after use, etc), you might have broken it.
