Question Nitro 5 laptop not working with monitor after installing 2 16 gb crucial ram sticks

So i just bought 2 crucial 16 gb ram sticks stuck them in my nitro 5 an515-64-55ym model and now i cant hook it up to my hdmi slot for a monitor, anyone know what the problem is or how to fix it, the sticks cost almost 200 canadian

What do you mean by can't hook it up? What happens?

First try running a diagnostic test on your system (especially a memory test). Then try putting the old memory back in and see if the problem goes away.

your post is not clear at all. does the laptop run as normal without the monitor? What do you mean by i cant hook it up to my hdmi slot for a monitor. Are you saying you no longer have access to the hdmi port?

So thanks for the help i appreciate it, unfortunately trying to get a picture of the ram sticks while opening it up i stabbed a knife into the computer system, so this is kindof a write off now sorry to waste your time lol
