No 17" glossy displays anymore?

Hello, after 7 years I am looking to replace my xotic PC laptop built on a sager frame. I currently have a nice glossy display but can't find that option in current builds unless I drop to a 15" display. Is there some reason why no 17" displays are offered anymore? I have been searching the web and haven't found any reason.

I think mainly it's because of demand, I personally prefer mat displays because in my environment glaring is a big problem. If your on the go with a laptop I can imagine it's the same.

Well, my laptop is a desktop replacement that is used both at home and work. Both locations do not impart reflections on the gloss screen. Guess if the market isn't there then there is not much I can do. Thanks
