No anenna signal

I bought a 40" HiSense H3 series LED TV and can't pick up any channels when connected to the antenna. I have connected the antenna to my old TV and pick up the channels but when I connect it to the HiSense it comes up no channel information after running a channel scan and was wondering what the problem could be?

Make sure that the tuner mode is not set to cable.

I have it set to antenna. Starting to think it may be a faulty connection in the TV itself.
