Solved! No audio on selected streaming programs

had sony vaio laptop motherboard replaced, have new battery, Since then cannot get audio on streaming free movie websites, putlocker, watch free tv, the mute stays on only from these. Audio works on others. What gives?

The motherboard would not be the cause of this. However if it is only happening on pirate sites (that is what they are ) then I would start to wonder if there is something set in your browser that is the culprit, and if not that, your ISP.

First, try another browser. Like say FireFox and see if you get the same problem.
