No headset/Headphones Icon

Hi all
New to Marshmallow OS
Am using Sony Xperia XA Dual sim
The sound works fine but no icon when its plugged in.
I dont see the headset/headphones icon on the top of the phone
Can you help please ?

I just tested my Samsung S7, plugged in two different headphones, no icon.
