No Power Laptop

Hi everyone. (Pls excuse my English.)

I spilled milk on my laptop last Monday night. I quickly forced shutdown it and turn it upside down so the liquid will not go any deeper. My sister disassembled it the next day and found no residue/liquid. So motherboards not wet nor the battery or any hardware parts. The keyboard has seal on it so I'm pretty sure that the liquid can't escape from there. She disassembled it and when we turn it on, it doesn't power, and fans not working too. But it charges.

What do you think the problem here?

If you held the power button down to force shut down it may have gone into hibernate or sleep.
Have you tried removing the battery unplugging the mains holding the power button down for a good 30 sec to minute (Hard reset).
Then turning on without battery and mains lead then if not try with battery.
Some laptop make have a pin hole to reset them underneath?

If the laptop charger is unable to power on the laptop then that means there is an issue with the charger. This means the power supplied by the outlet which is carried to the laptop by the charger is damaged. There are many different ways it could be damaged but in the end, a dead charger is a dead charger. I would suggest you get a new charger in this case.

It may just as easily be a fault in the fuse at the power end of the cable from the charger or that part of the lead itself. However in this case, it's far more likely that the spillage caused teh damage. Cold milk on a hot laptop will soon cool and the only evidence left behind will be a feint white dust which won't blow away. The liquid could have done the damage by then.

It's too late now but as soon as you damage any electronics with liquid, pour uncooked rice grains on it srtaight away and let those grains do their job of absorbing the liquid.

I haven't done hard preset yet. Yes there's a pin hole for reset underneath.

I don't think the problem is with the charger since it's new

There's no residue or anything inside. It should be sticky or smells like milk but there's none. There's also a seal before the liquid could go deep on my motherboard. But still hoping this has nothing to do w/ my motherboard.
