no signal freeview

my samsung lcd tv has a permanent NO SIGNAL i have checked the arieal by pluging into another tv and it works fine my samsung tv model number is:LE32R74BD

Are you in NZ or somewhere else?? Because we get freeview here too. Which may or may not be the same as what you get

Umm do the tv's there when you scan for channels have an option to scan for the old analog channels too (I think its called ATV on the TV here)??

Because if you select this, (like here) it wont have any.

Since there's only digital TV here

we are just the same as you no analog all digital

So it doesnt matter if you select ATV and DTV (if there is an ATV option). Or DTV by itself there's nothing?

Since you connected the aerial to another TV, is the aerial rabbit ears or an outside aerial?

It sounds like a common prob tho, the tuning on this TV

outside but what baffles me it works fine on the other tv

Have you checked for firmware updates for it to see if one will fix this prob?

same thing kit wont let me update or factory reset because of the no signal which it needs to do them
yes the channels worked fine only last morning come back in evening nothing only no signal
