No signal hell

Everything has worked for years. Now, turn everything on and tv says no signal. Have checked connections, chords, power up sequence. Nothing works. Cable tv sound is there but no picture. Samsung plasma.

Do you get a picture from other sources? Then the TV may be OK. Try a different input for the cable box to see if only one input is bad.
You can try rebooting your cable box. Unplug it from the AC for 5 minutes and plug it back it. Call your cable provider to troubleshoot the box and replace it if needed. That's the good part of paying every month to rent the box. They have to replace it if it's broken.

Thx for responding. Tried game console and dvd and nothing seems to be able to get a signal thru. Power went out right around when it happened. Could it have blown sims thing? Thx again
