No Signal Level Change

I have a 7 ½' dish and a Houston Tracker VI IRD. I have mounted the
dish and receive good quality reception from about eight birds. My
problem is that the signal level rarely changes above 15. I've seen
it go as high as 30 but that's only been once or twice. I've
adjusted the LNB, centering, and the dish but can't seem to get a
higher signal level. As mentioned, the picture quality is good,
excellent on several channels and birds. I have a clear shot at most of
the satellites so I know it's not something blocking the signal. My
IRD doesn't have a quality level, only signal strength. Because of
the low signal strength the IRD won't auto lock onto a satellite. Any
suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong here? Why I can't get a
higher signal strength?

Is your cabling letting you down?

Maybe you need a bigger dish?
