my DOS skills are starting to rust a little, so here's my problem: My neighbour lovea the old-style role playing games under DOS, suck as Ultima UnderWorld for example.
I built his computer about 2 years ago, with a Pentium III 800MHz and Intel 815 Mobo. He has a Creative SB 16 PCI installed.
I created a 500Mb partition on his HDD, and formatted as FAT16 to make sure I'm into true DOS.
I installed the correct lines into the Autoexec.bat on the dos boot disk, and during the game setup if I select Sound Blaster as the sound card the game gives me error during detection.
I also tried to start the game under Win98 SE, to see if maybe it was gonna use the Win drivers, but that didnt work either.
Could anyone enlighten me on this PLEASE?
