No sound on tv

i have Sharp AQUOS LC 50LE440U TV I have problems with the sound lately I have tried unplugging unit from outlet for hours at a time and also tried to reset tv but to no avail still no sound what are my options or solutions?

does it have an audio out source in the back? if so you can use external speakers instead of the built in ones.

What type of speakers can I use without using a surround sound system?

It looks like your going to have to use the digital output, additionally you will need a pair of speakers that are powered by plugging into the wall (no receiver for power source).
