Pretty much it has to be a mechanical issue if the headphones work and the
speaker doesn't. The wire from the audio output section goes to the
headphone jack first and is then routed to the speaker. Inserting the
headset routes the audio out and breaks the physical connection to the
speaker. Removing the headset, should restore the physical connection.
