No wifi password

My mom renamed the wifi, but now it is asks for a password of which she never put in. What do we do?

Not much we can do, unfortunately. You may want to simply reset the modem/router to factory default conditions. There is usually a small, sometimes hidden, button that you can press/hold to accomplish that. It will mean that you have to set up your network again.

most routers have a default password, so it would help to know what kind of router you have

If she was in the settings/setup area for the router and changed the name from there she should be able to go back in and change or remove the wireless access key
