Okay, this has been an issue for years, and I'd love to solve this.
I have a Samson CO1U USB Condenser Mic. I have used it with 2 different PC Laptops (one Dell and one HP) as well as with a MacBook and a Mac tower.
It works perfectly fine on both the Macs, no noise, sounds great.
On BOTH the PC Laptops I get really loud background noise that makes it impossible to get a good recording.
I just don't understand why it works on the Macs, including the laptop, but not the PC.
